Hi Guys N Gals
I have  Samsung u100 which is currently on vadafone prepay, it's a parrallel imported one and works on the 900mhz gsm thingy ma jig. Now when i put in my 2 degrees sim it just says please wait and nothing happens. i have tried another sim and same problem. any ideas?

have you actually tried scanning for networks and checked the connection settings?

as far as I am aware its not sim locked as it is a parrallel imported and worked fine when set up with vodafone. and i reset all the settings and have it on automatic scan for networks but the problem is when the 2 degree card is in the phone, whenyou turn it back on it doesn't load anything and just says please wait. i have stuck the sim in another phoneand it works fine.

i have done a manual scan and it came up with 2 vodafone and NZ24F?

It's not SIM locked is it?

i have turned off the sim lock option in the settings and no joy.

Tried asking 2degree's as they should be able to trace it from their side.




Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.
