My port has just gone through fully was started on Saturday 15th. Long wait on hold is because lots of people are ringing them as well. You should have been ported by now. I also had signed up on the 13th and got this text on the 14th.

The text said...

Hi we got your bring yr number request yesterday but we ve got a major traffic jam! Jeff s now fixed Your2degrees so you can go online and DIY. Go Jeff! 2d.

I went back on site and filled out form on the 15th and I'm ported now.

Mine took about 2-3 business days and this was in the first mad rush week.
I wasnt sure when it was going to switch over and I had my Vodafone sim in which was showing signal but when i would call it voicemail was kicking in straight away.
I then realised it was the 2degrees voicemail.
Once I put the 2D sim in I rang my VF number and found it was sucessfully ported!

Put a request in last night to get my fiance safely away from VF and ported over to 2D so will see how long that takes.
No dramas though,its pretty seemless.

This doesn't sound right. You should have received at least 1 if not 2 text messages from us letting you know of the status of your porting request.
Can you make contact with the team on 0800 022 022 as they do need to know that you've put in a port request and you've had no correspondence. They will be able to track down the request and let you know what the situation is.

Cheers!

My port only took 1 full working day. Impressed :)
Even more so now I dont have to pay through the nose when I make my 1 call a month on the mobile LOL.

Ported my mum's pre pay voda number. Took less than a day. Had her old voda SIM in a spare phone(so she would not miss any calls). She called me in a panic saying it had said SIM registsration failed. Nah that's a good thing your now on 2degrees LOL

I did a port on Tuesday, took about 2 hours which was a huge improvement on the last one I did which took days. Maybe the numbers have fallen off a little or they have gotten on top of the backlog.

I ported my Vodafone to 2degrees. After about 1 hour (I think) I looked at my credit and the $5 was now in there. I am also able to send/receive txts under my voda number with my 2degrees sim inside. Still no txt saying that the port is finished.

Mine was really quick. I put in the request at 8pm last night and I got a text at 3am this morning saying it was done. I didn't know they worked 24hours.
