This has been escalated to the 2 degrees IT department, but any ideas here as to why would my Nokia phone say "Number not in use" or "Failed" when trying to send an SMS to a +62878 number? (Indonesia).

We have successfully sent a message to this number ONCE, but subsequently have only had fails.

It fails on TRYING to send - it is not a non-delivery issue at the other end.

I have received an SMS from this particular number in reply, and have been trying unsuccessfully to reply to the said SMS.

If it makes any difference we are in Dunedin so roaming on Vodafone.

Sending to this number from Vodafone has been fine.
