I don't know how I missed Snap when I was looking at changing from my non speed limited 256k plan with Orcon after it went back to being speed limited. But after moving to a FS/FS plan and then to a FS/128 plan with Orcon and experiencing sub 256k performance most of the time, I am now looking for alternitives.
The FS/FS 60GB Plan looks the best. It offers 9GB a more a month for the same price I am paying Orcon (will be $10 more as I can not transfer phone services over).
So,. what can people tell me about them. Will I get more than 25kb/sec on http downloads (ie, Winamp, VLC, Apple, Microsoft setup exe)? Should I infact get what I think I should get on a FS/FS connection and get speeds in excess of 500kb/sec based on my line rates of 11Mbits Down and 1Mbit Up?
The 12 month contract irks me a bit, but at least the disconnection rate is cheaper than most places if I find that Snap are not for me.
Any information is fantastic!
Thanks
