I cant find any reference to e mail settings on the 2degrees site anymore. I rang their helpdesk and was told to ring xtra for settings etc. I have a Nokia 6121 and would like to access my xtra mail. As ringing xtra is a real mission has anybody done it and can you supply settings?

Incoming mail server: pop3.xtra.co.nz
Outgoing mail server: smtp.xtra.co.nz

I used the wizard on my Nokia 5630 for my gmail account and it pulled the mail server addresses from the net itself, saved me having to type them in.

It may work with your phone too, although i havent tried.

I have tried deleting the account  and using the wizard and re entering account name password servers etc.  When I send an email it pops up select access point. I have tried the four VF NZ options. All return message unable to send message etc ... any ideas?

Is it a Vodafone handset? I believe you'll need to remove the Vodafone APNs and put 2degrees' in.

my reply at noon has not made it so I will try again....
The phone (Nokia 6121) is a NZ new from Vodafone.
I live in Cambridge so  all calls are through Vodafone.
How do I  get the APNs for 2degrees and how do I change them?
2degrees help tell me to enter details from xtra and they do not support email so where too now?
