I have a 2DSIM car with $20 credit loaded.

If i port my Vodafone number over to this SIM card, will the $20 credit still remain after the porting is complete?

I got told by DSE guy, the best way is to port your number over is use a $1 sim card and port your number over then told up with the $20 otherwise if you use the $20 to port your number over you lost that $20. Not sure is this true or not.

Your credit will definitely still remain - and you'll also be pleasantly rewarded with an additional $5 of credit added to your balance for porting that number over. If you go the whole hog and update your details you'll get an additional $3 of credit.

To get the process started you need to activate your SIM by calling 200. Don't set up your voicemail at this time as when you number gets ported you will loose this voicemail and have to start again.

Once your SIM is active just sign in to the Your 2degrees section of the website. When you sign in you'll be sent a temporary password. Use that password to get access to Your 2degrees and from there you can port your number over, register your details, top-up, change your password, check your usage etc, etc...

Cheers!
2degrees
