Ahoy,
If I'm connecting direct on 2degrees (not roaming) and wanting to use my phone as a modem to go online, what are the settings I would use to connect up in this manner? ie, what user name/password/phone number do I setup in the dialup connection?

*99# is the dial string. No username or pw required.

This is pretty much the standard config for any GSM/UMTS network.

I'd also push around a wheelbarrow full of money because you'll need it.  Data on 2Degrees is very, very expensive.

if you are roaming on Vodafone NZ you will need to put in the APN Internet. You cannot leave the APN blank in this case unfortunately
