Hey Everyone,

I seem to have falled over a small bug with 2D simcards when put into HTC hero phones.

The automatic setting/speed dial number (200) does not autoassign to the correct key. It is also not show as being known in the sim phone book, However from what I have been told it does work as expected in Nokia phones. The other numbers 201 and 202 are listed as being in the sim phonebook.

Could be my sim or phone or both I guess. So can anyone confirm if the Sim card holds the service numbers 200,201 and 202 etc

Cheers

Lee

The Sim phone book has the numbers, it is how your phone handles them.
Does you phone have any Vodafone or Telecom firmware? as this may over-ride it as well.

i know that my iphone doesn't pick up the sim phone book but the voicemail settings etc are in the carrier pack.

Any posts are personal comments and not that of my employer

Hey Pwner,

The two Hero's I have tried pickup the sim based phone numbers and list them in the contacts but only 201 and 202 .. 200 does not display, but can be manually entered/set.

The units are non-banded imports, so as default as they get.

Cheers
