Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem like mine or know why it is happening.

A few months ago i was changed to a closer cabinet, this did great for my internet as i'm on ADSL 2 but every since then i find that my phone line dies randomly.  By dieing i mean that the phone line is all crackly and scratchy.  My cordless tells me that the line is in use.  This can stay like this for up to 24 hours (apart from the first time it happened it took them 2 weeks to sort it out) and then it either fixes itself or a tech rings to say it's fixed (not sure if it fixed itself when the tech got there thou). 
I have made about 4 calls to Orcon and have been thru all the isoalation tests etc and as said before techs have come out and said that they have fixed it.


It has now happened again and i have made another call to Orcon, a tech is coming out tomorrow again!!!!
One thing that i have noticed is that everytime there is a storm this happens, not sure if it's related.

What i am scared of is that they are going to find something wrong on my side of the street and get a big charge.  I don't think i am to blame as i've lived here for 3 years and never had a problem before the change of cabitnet and then all of a sudden i've had major problems.

Does anyone know what this problem could be?

I will addmit that Orcon has been trying and gave me my money back for the 2 weeks i had problems at the start.

One last thing is that my internet works perfectly the whole time.
