Hi All, Forum Newbie here.

I'm having a problem with 2D MMS. Frown  I have two Motorola phones, both on 2degrees.  One will send & receive, the other won't.  I've gone thru the settings and matched with the phone that works. Am I missing something?  Should I change the SIMs over to get the settings

Moto V3i - send and receive (settings sent via website)
Moto K1 - send, NO receive (unable to download error) (couldn't get settings sent to phone)

I've been sending MMS back and forth between these phones.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Well since the one that isnt working is the one that couldnt get the settings downloaded it would point to it being a settings problem. If you have all the APNs set up as per the 2degrees settings sticky and it still isnt working then you need to check the settings under messaging and that you are using the correct APN, proxy and messaging center details.

these are on the settings sticky as well.

Any posts are personal comments and not that of my employer

It is also possible to send settings direct from the 2degrees website:

http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/settings

Choose the Make/model and ignore the IMEI field

Thanks....all the settings are the same - I've compared them side by side

Unfortunately, the site won't send the settings to my phone - could it be because they are foreign?

What do you mean, 'won't send'? If you choose Motorola and K1m, enter your 2degrees MSISDN, enter the anti-spam code and submit, what happens?

It says that 2degrees is unable to send settings, please configure manually

You sure you're not entering something in the IMEI field? - leave that blank and just choose the Make and Model. I've just tried it for the Motorola K1m and it had no issues (noting I don't actually have that handset).
