Hey guys are there any good and reliable usage meters?
I think i need to start using one on the start of my new billing period, as just checked my usage and 68 gb used in 12 days like wtf i dont even p2p or play serious gaming or download music I only stream movies but like one a day if that. anyway any good usage meters recommended by anyone too use would be greatly appreciated

What ISP are you on? Xnet have a great one that you can get as either a plugin for FF or as a program that sits in your tasktray

Haha oh right, my bad, I didnt even look at the forum, just clicked on it from my rss feed link. Is it just the one computer that you'll be using?

Just did a quick Google and it seems that Orcon have something similar to the Xnet usage meter, but without having an Orcon account it wont let me see it to download. Otherwise there is http://www.tuc.co.nz/ which claims to work with Orcon but I've never used it so I wouldnt be sure.

hey cheers for the feedback we got too computers one in the house on wireless so its been them that have been downloading heaps, anyway i can keep track of there dl/ul usage from my computer?

As far as I know the only way to track multiple computers personal bandwidth would be through a gateway. You can get these really cheap (I picked up one from a second hand pc store for ~$50 a few years back) and just get some free software to run on the gateway to monitor usage. Only problems with these is they can be a little hard to setup.
