The problem however is that roaming on 2degrees doesn't deliver the same experience a Vodafone user has.

As John mentioned there are 900 3G only sites in the area, 2degrees SIM's can't roam on Vodafone's 3G network so you're suffering limited coverage compared to a Vodafone customer who has a 900 3G capable handset.

Quite a few people on 2degrees are waiting for 3G roaming access on Vodafone. Vodafone seem to be investing mostly on 3G when it comes to coverage improvements.
