Anyone had any issues signing up online with Slingshot? signed up for Italk, they charged my Credit Card for the first payment but I've heard nothing, its been two weeks now, no email, no welcome letter nothing.

I have now asked them to cancel my signup request.

Cheers,

Bill

I had a very similar experience.

I signed up got a welcome letter, waited about two or three weeks expecting something to happen it didnt. I called again spoke to a delightful girl who told me my order failed because the number i provided didnt exist. I confirmed the number they had did exist and was still currently working fine.

I asked if they actually tried to call it... that seemed to be a turning point in my belief system on technical support that I would expect from there on.

I had also already been billed.. so I requested a refund and them to cancel my request to move over..

There plans are very competitive.. but not so good if you never get to use them :)

My views are mine and don't necessarily reflect that of my employer.

I finally got a refund, but it took a while as they had to find the credit card transaction as their system had failed to create an account.
