I noticed that a while back some one from snap was talking about bounded being in testing. Did anything ever come of this?

The reason being is i run a LAN event, the hall has internet access but we are currently limited hugely by the slow upload speed. By being able to run 2 connections we could double our access limits.

I dont think we will sell this as a service as the support overhead and cost of the equipment is pretty high. I think we still have 1 staff member still using it at home. It's not something Snap will be investing time and money into, and something that staff look into and play with in their spare time. Should we ever really be happy with it, we may again look into selling it as a usable product.

Alright, thanks for taking the time to reply!

I guess we'll have to wait for VDSL2 then.

What about getting 2 separate ADSL connections and using a business grade/class router that supports dual wan to route some traffic over one connection and some over the other... or half the users over one connection and the other half over the other?

Can't remember if it was here on gpforums but there was a guy who posted about doing something along those lines but in his case Big Time ADSL connection for bulk traffic and Maxnet Naked ADSL for performance/gaming.

Part of the problem is the cost of setting up a second telecom line.

This is still a possability though.

As long as the phone line coming into the place has two pairs....

I don't think there is any reason why you can't have have standard ADSL and landline on one pair and naked adsl with a different provider on the other.. If you don't need/want the land line, naked ADSL x2.

You still have to rend the line off telecom afaik.  This is the issue.

Well yes if you had 2x Snap Naked ADSL A , it would be $69.95 for each so $139.90 total I guess.

If you weren't already aware you would need 2 lines for bonded DSL too.

Would that one staff member be yourself?
