Recently I have noticed that my phone has been trying to connect to 3G in more places than ever. Around xmas I was told by a tech that 24/80 of the Wellington sites had 3g.

Let's hope they will finish it off soon.

Have any of you guys noticed more 3G sites going live?

When I was in Auckland 3 weeks ago, sitting at the bottom of queen street opposite the National Bank waiting for my cab; I could see a 3g signal from 2degrees.

No, defiantly not, what I am stating is that they are putting 3G in more of their coverage which implies the release is getting closer.

No-one will be able to attach until we open up 3G service to ordinary subscribers.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

ahhhhh all I am saying is that 2degrees is opening up their 3G network. We all know it is coming, and that you cannot connect to it yet. I should not have said anything.

Blah blah blah!

When 3G goes live, will it be available to all customers or restricted to the three major centres? Are 2D subscribers in, say, Dunedin, going to remain the poor second cousins?

Do not lead me, for I may not follow. Do not follow me, for I may not lead. Do not walk beside me either; actually just bugger off and stand over there will you.

Poor second cousins? have you seen the cost of living in Auckland?! Tongue out

Unfortunately those sort of specifics are not public at the momment and you will have to wait for the offical announcements regarding 3G for that sort of information.
I just help build the thing.

Can roaming SIM's still attach? I know they could and I'd been meaning to do a brief speedtest!
