If that is your modem stats your new house must be located further from an exchange or you have a issue

Check your filter (replace it with another), make sure you are using no extension cables and try another socket.

If thats doesnt fix it ring your ISP. They can guide you through the diagnostic process.

I have tried it with out the filter all togeather, and it made no difference to the speed. i guess i will try i a different socket when i get home (round 5pm). I was told that i was close to a ADSL 2+ exchange :S

CSS == Counter strike: source?
You don't need much upload to play most FPS's online, 10KB/s should be just fine. The more important thing will be your ping times..

Ive found the faster your upload the better, i just moved from paraparaumu where i had cable, so 2mbit up gave me around 25-30ping, i was in a server last night, 400-1000 :S

Depends what else you're doing with it. But even 64kbit upload should be fine for FPS, as long as you're not maxing out your downstream. (You need that upload to get the tcp acks off..)

If you're using all your upstream, your pings will be bad..
But DSL with interleaving off gets you another 10-30ms less latency than with interleaving on..
(I can get 160-180ms ping times to the west coast US)

What make/model is the modem?
What are the stats for noise margin, line attenuation from the modem's admin ui?

The line mode shouldn't be RE-ADSL2, that's reach extended for people who lives really far away from the exchange.

I suspect it's an issue with the adsl port configuration at the exchange, Slingshot should be able to do a "port reset" for you.
