Hey,

I have just noticed recently the complaints about 2degrees sim cards. Has anyone else had an issue with their sim card?

I had an issue where the message centre was lost from the card after I switched between a VF sim and a 2d sim. I had to get a new one, and I have noticed others are having multiple failures.

?

You didn't just put the message centre number back in? A new SIM seems like overkill.

I did every single day...
Sorry, I should have said each time I turned the phone off the message centre would be lost.

I'm aware of at least one of my friend receving a faulty SIM (worked only for the first 24 or so hours!). 2degree replaced it free of charge as I expected.

Vodafone has had a few SIM issues too, so not sure why you're implying that 2degrees are cutting corners?

I have two SIM cards, never had problems, and switch those frequently in some test handsets I have here.

I didn't see this implication anywhere in his post... Unless you are talking about the subject of the thread, but even so I wouldn't consider it "cut corner" claim.

All my sims are working as good as the day I bought them, so no, not any problems here.

I guess its like anything, When you mass produce items some are going to be faulty.

Personally I have a stack of Sim's here 2Degrees, XT, Vodafone, AT&T, T Mobile and none of them have ever had issues
