I just wanted to have a look at what Slingshot were offering.
So I checked out there website and was asked to input my address. Sure ..

7 answers came back - 2 in Auckland, 4 in Palmy North and 1 in Timaru.
But I live in Mosgiel - a town of 10,000 15km from Dunedin.

Anyone else have this issue.
And no im not going to call them ...

If you don't want to call them, you probably won't be able to sign up.

How did you enter your address?
100 some road, town?

Yes, most small towns in NZ are not in their database.

There is a thread on the unofficial slingshot forums, that Slingshot is ignoring.
They have made some changes to their website that not old has major technical problem
also has some pretty big misleading statements and generally is lacks details.
I think it was put together by the PR team that did Nationals pre-election spin.

Hello, you're not inside slingshot LLU (currently only Hamilton) or vodafone LLU (currently only Auckland) so you'll have normal telecom services.

Homeline and tolls with slingshot will get you...
Starter     (256/128) 2GB  $24.95
Everyday  (FS/FS)     5GB  $30.00
Advanced (FS/FS)     15GB $40.00
Pro          (FS/FS)     25GB $50.00

Only tolls with slingshot...
Starter     (256/128) 2GB  $29.95
Everyday  (FS/FS)     5GB  $35.00

Advanced (FS/FS)     15GB $45.00

Pro          (FS/FS)     25GB $55.00

Homeline and tolls not with slingshot...
Starter     (256/128) 2GB  $34.95
Everyday  (FS/FS)     5GB  $40.00

Advanced (FS/FS)     15GB $50.00

Pro          (FS/FS)     25GB $60.00

Or naked dsl (FS/FS) 25GB for 79.95.

What was wrong with calling in? :)

I just wanted to find information, which is what you do on the internet - and 95% of the time that does not mean you need to call someone. The website is broken and you should fix it.
