hello

I am currently on big time plan and deciding to go for slingshot
so i called slingshot about their broadband plan and deciding to go for 25GB plan with no homeline
so a very nice CSR guy told me I got two choices
1. Pro plan + italk = $70
2. nDSL inc italk = $80

i thought without homeline i need to go for nDSL. very confused!!!

er... the ndsl+italk = 80 seems right as far as i know
but the pro+italk=70 doesnt make much sense to me

is it saying you pay for pro which is 50 + 10 dollars extra if you don't use their homeline, then add another 10 dollars for italk, which makes it 70? ~~~ but for this option you still need a homeline with some ISP...

2. nDSL is a naked dsl service, which is without a standard phone line , but comes with a voip service.

1. Is their FS/FS service still with a standard phoneline provided by Telecom, they will charge you $10 more for not using Slingshots homeline. I think they are also adding another $10 because you don't have tolls with Slingshot. You could have your phoneline with Telecom but have your Tolls with Slingshot.

There website is lacking information about that.

If you're interested in the Just Broadband (otherwise known as Naked DSL) plan, then that's realistically the only option; $80 p/month, 25Gb, FS/FS etc etc

I have no idea what the CSR you spoke to was meaning with

1. Pro plan + italk = $70

Do you happen to remember the name of the CSR you spoke to? :)

anyhow at the end i got on nDSL with another reps, didn't get the name tho
since i have to cancel caller id on telecom first to get slingshot setup.
