Had a bad experience leaving Orcon, in the end they owed me $50.00 once i left.  It was owed to me back in June.
Well guess what, they still haven't paid me and when i check my balance, it shows that it has been written off.
Going to have heaps of fun waiting on hold tomorrow to only be thrown from department to department again and then get told that the check is in the mail.  Will wait another 3 months only to go through the same thing again.
Left Orcon in January 2010 and they are still giving me headaches!!!

I would consider lodging a complaint with the TDR

That will end up costing them more than $50 to, let alone in the cost of time. I think however you have to have a deadlock number. Kind of glad I didn't switch to them now as my ISP.

Just an update, finally found time to ring orcon up. They answered the phone within 2mins, great start!!!
They found out that no one had filled out the paperwork and that was the reason my cheque had not arrived, the CSR did it right then on the phone and hopefully in a few weeks a cheque should arrive.
Hopefully this will be the end!
