I'm gonna put thru a complaint tomorrow to them about this internet performance, even with no torrents running things are still not working right.

Anyway, what tests have others found them ask to do, would help if I can do them tonight so I have something for them rather than them tell me tomorrow and have to do them tomorrow night when it may not be as bad as tonight.

I've noticed on the slingshot website they have put up a post about problems with the international data under network status on the homepage. So enough people have complained to cause some action. Let's hope this fixes the extremely slow speeds.

They tweeted that they were looking into it so I didnt call them, and last night worked a lot better and today seems to be not that bad so its back to "acceptable for the price" IMO, would love for it to work as well as the flatmates telecom connection, but that is twice the price for data and until telecom solve my distance from the exchange, it wouldnt be twice as good.

They are very inconsiderate in the hours they work, its when I am sleeping or working so hard to make a call to them, but will try tomorrow to get a ticket logged.

Didn't you read all the compliants about them before you signed up, and they have also been on FairGo, with fairgo saying they get the most complaints about them proportionally. I was with them about 3 years ago, and it doesn't appears much has changed. They are a budget provider after all, so you get what you pay for.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Recently, streaming of international sites -eg. Golf Channel on Veetle- is nearly unwatchable. It has more drops than the Grand Canyon. Am going to change my data plan until -if- they get it sorted. If not, there are other options, although more expensive.

Yeah, I know, you get what you pay for. However, most businesses cut the crap out of their performance once they get what they perceive are their target market share (don't believe me: remember the Telecom issues of, well, most of their existence). Looks like Slingshot have reached that level Yell
