Just received the 2degrees-branded Huawei E5 WiFi router as per pictures below:

It seems very slick - including WPS button for automatic configuration/connection. Will test it soon and post in this thread.

I have the Virgin Mobile (OZ) version of the E5 and it's great - i'd be interested to know how many wifi devices it allows at once as the virgin one is restricted to 3 devices at once but the device is capable of supporting 5.

Will you be giving it away once you've reviewed it?

No, sending it back...

It is already in their website, $279 for the device.

That's a pretty good price. A few friends in the UK have them and are very happy with it, I have a Novatel Wireless 2352 which is similar and think they're so much better than USB stick modems as you can put it by a window etc and get better reception.

Just heard from 2degrees and the rules have changed: I am allowed to give it away, so I will post a competition tomorrow...

Can we lock the competition down so it's moderators only?

tardtasticx: Looks plasticy and cheap

It's made of plastic... But actually loogs really cool, and smaller than my Cradlepoint (not so fully featured though, but it does the job).
