Has anyone else had a problem with the 2 degrees data usage log (on the My2Degrees website) showing incorrect information?

I have several instances where I know that I was not using data e.g. I was not at home and my computer was turned off/disconnected etc. yet 200+ MB of data is logged as having been used at that time. The most annoying is the ~100 MB of data that was used on the day that I bought the USB modem before I had even taken it out of the box!  Also, since I only use the internet for webpage browsing this seems like a lot of data to be used in one sitting.

2 degrees have been unable to give me a satisfactory answer as to what could be going on, but I want to know whether the usage is real but being logged at the wrong time, or if there is some way that somebody could be using my account without my knowledge (e.g. a cloned sim).

Any ideas??

The CDR is only generated at the end of a session. If you used data yesterday, say, and then sat idle overnight and switched off the computer in the morning, then the log would show the data as used the second day, not the first day.

However, your balance is actually decremented in realtime. It's easiest to see with a smartphone where you can use *100*1# (the web site front page balance caches for a while to stop our IN from falling in a screaming heap with the load). You will see the balance actually go down roughly every 200KB.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

The computer has been switched off every night, and there are other sessions later on those days (when I was actually using the internet), so I dont think that can be it.

Thanks for your reply - at least if I know that the balance is up-to-date I can keep an eye on my usage so I dont end up getting charged at the out of pack rate!
