How to set pay monthly credit limit?

Just finished signung up for pay monthly and ported my VF number accross to 2degress.

I just noticed that my monthly credit limit is set at $1000.00 - is there anyway to set a price for yourself? I remember reading in part of the pay monthly sign-up info that you could change it... I just dont know how... Not that my balance would ever get that high!.. But it would be comforting to know that ill never get a 'bill shock' if I set it lower...

... So does anyone know how to change it?

i would have thought $1000.00 is quite high to start with... $500 maybe? sorry, not sure how to help you because i am still on prepay.

(2degrees is racist towards those that have more than 13 characters for their first name on the driving license)

How is 2degrees racist? I have never once witnessed a situation were 2degrees was racist - they have always been professional and friendly... Not to mention your comment is off topic and inappropriate.

he just meant that he had discovered a glitch on the 2% licence system which didnt allow people with more then 13 digit fist names to enroll... the term racist should probably be replaced with biased

What do you mean. I counted and "nakedmolerat" is only 12 characters

Now to address the original question, why don't you ring and ask them! They have always answered the phone quickly when I have needed to ring.

It's my understanding (NOTE: this is not my area) that the 13 character limit is at Veda, so there's not a lot we can do about it.

At present DL is the only form of ID we can verify in an online process, and an online process is the only one we have since we don't have dealers or branded stores yet.

Hi, we're working on letting you control your credit limit in Your 2degrees. In the meantime if you PM me your 2D # and details we can bring it down if you want.

Regarding the 13 character limit on the DL, it's as SaltyNZ says, it's set by Veda not 2degrees.

Hi... No problems - Im not worried about it, just curious to know if I could bring it down just to be safe.... Ill wait until I see it crop up in Your 2degress... How soon might it be?

lol, what about [naked mole rat] - that is 14 characters already!

i did ring 2degrees for support. unfortunately it has been over a week and no reply nor update... i rung them again to check and the answer i got was to wait until someone contacted me about this issue. anyway, i think i got quicker support by coming to geekzone forums. saltynz gave me a prompt reply after i PM'd him/?her - thanks!
