I have a few nice 2degrees numbers I am not using at the moment since I am on the free slingshot phone deal.

I was expecting to have to top them up soon since it will have been a year since last used, but I cant seem to find where to get the 12 month disconnection date from the portal, it just gives me a $0.00 ballance with no date, and *100*1# says $0 and to check the web for expiration.

Also, is there any way to make firefox or IE remember passwords on the 2 degrees site? Its very counter productive to have to go thru the password recovery all the time because they play javascript games to stop it saving, all the bookmarklets I have tried fail, and one of them at least works for my bank even.

It's 30 days from credit expiry, so it sounds like now might be a good time to topup if you want to save them. :-)

Going on from richms problem about saving login info . I find that "My 2degrees" the only website that i login to that will not allow auto login via Opera. A pain that i have to manually login everytime I want to check one of my accounts..

I got a bookmarklet that removed the autocomplete off from the form, but the button appears to be some javascrpit stuff that that site is riddled with, thankfully enter on the fields does a proper submit so that firefox offers to save once the autocomplete restriction is removed.

I had a SIM card with the same deal and I was unable to login to the website with it. I tried to get the forgotten password text from the website, but that never came through, even though I was able to send texts to that phone myself.

I rang 2degrees and they also couldn't get the text to send to me and they also sent other texts (presumably from personal phones rather than the system) and they got through, so I had no way to login to the website.

I can't tell when/if that SIM is expired. They said they'd ring me back when they'd tried to figure something out, but I never heard anything.

Your phone wasn't an LG by any chance, was it?

So I should try putting it in my old Nokia 6100?  Will that help?

Otherwise, you can have my 7250, it's no use to be anymore without the SIM! :)  Battery life is terrible on it, though.  Just tried again and now I can't even get a passwrod sent to me ("Forgot password hint question and hint answer are not available, Please contact administrator.").  Maybe I'll give them a ring back later in the week, see what's up.
