Hi
Does anyone know if you can get mobile broadband coverage in Otaki using one of the 2Degrees broadband sticks?
Cheers
Richard

From their website it looks like you will not be in their mobile broadband zone, seems it cuts off just south of otaki. But you will be in their coverage for national data

i think this area is covered by both 2degrees and vodafone, so you may need to forced your device to lock to 2degrees towers only.

I have had 2degrees coverage as far as Levin but my phone would always swtich to vodafone whenever making a call or using data.

Got an issue at home in Titirangi at the moment. My 2degree's SIM will only do 2G for data so I can't use my 1G mobile broadband allowance at home. I'm in Auckland, but it appears I'm just outside their 3G network.

Hi Richarda,

As one of the previous posters mentioned, unfortunately our coverage only extends south of Otaki and doesn't really reach inland further north.

Re : Openmedia regarding Titirangi coverage,

I have just done a quick coverage check in Titirangi and we have significantly varying signal strengths. Feel free to give us a call on either 200 or 0800 022 022 at a time of your convenience, and if you provide your physical address we will get a more accurate picture of the kind of service you should be receiving and see if there is any way we can improve it.

Cheers

Or they could check my blog on the link below, which at least gives people an idea of where the location might be of the site as per the RSM database.
