over the past few days orcon has been very slow on most sites.  trademe is ok, so is nzherald, but geekzone sometimes takes a bit to load.  International sites take forever.

pretty relieved it's not just me - hate phone faults process.
i was out most of saturday, so dunno. sunday was definitely poor, and tonight is the worst.

getting really poor international right now.
nzherald, trademe, stuff all load quick.
geekzone seems slow. stalling on things like tweetmeme and chart.net or something.
cnn.com not loading at all.

i suppose i should give them a call, but i just cant be arsed waiting in queue. i'd just rather text them saying "my international bw is slow" and they text me back "we're working on it brb"

Guys, the Orcon staff on GZ arent going to be able to help without some tracerts etc - just saying things are slow dosent help them diagnose the fault. So get those examples rolling in :)

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

woke up today and things are fine after resyncing the modem, ever since they said they had sorted the international speeds out at peak time last week things had been good for almost a week, people were able to come home and do normal browsing without any complaints which was great. hopefully last night was just a little hipcup and they got  things right again.

These are very recent traceroutes. It looks like many ppl having the same issue. I'm sure Orcon staff has seen it and working on it. Please don't ask us to troubleshoot. We are not network engineers.

I didnt ask anyone to troubleshoot, just to supply some information that Orcon would ask for anyway when trying to assist.

Since everyone seems to be happy again and the issue appears to be known via other threads, I'll lock this one off.

If you feel this is a different issue, and want the thread to remain open, PM me.
