Hi

Currently with vodafone on account, but I'm switching to 2degrees pay monthly with phone number port.
Bought a prepay sim today at the shopping mall.
Inserted sim and rang 200 to activate the sim
Didn't complete the answerphone setup because I want to port my number (as per 2 degrees instructions)
Logged into the 2 degrees website
Almost completed registration, but the website gives me the error
"Not a valid status of subscriber to process contact details"

The error appeared when I was up to the final signup questions,
the website suddenly jumped back to Step 2 and gave me the error.
Now everytime I click next i get the "not a valid..." error.

Spent almost 1 hour with 2 degrees customer support, who unfortunately weren't very helpful.  Initially they just suggested I use internet explorer instead of firefox, so I humoured them and tried that and got the same error everytime. I think they are providing support via some sort of flow chart that doesn't cover my situation. Unfortunately they told me they can't manually sign me up for prepay.  Eventually they decided to issue a support ticket, but I'm wondering if one of the 2degrees reps can sort this out for me, as I don't think I can take another phone call to customer support!!!

The add on the right seems to cut off some of my text

I don't know how to help with your situation, but that blurring of the information in your screenshot there looks pretty cool.

Hey there,

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you've been experiencing signing up with us. If you can message me the phone number of the SIM card and also just your details such as name, best contact number and time to contact you, and I will organise for someone in our technical department to look into this for you.

Cheers

^MD

Thanks, message sent. I retried the website today and it's still giving the same error.

Unfortunately in the process of going back and forth between my vodafone sim and the new 2 degrees sim i accidently bent my new 2 degrees in half when i left it in my pocket! lol, what a waste of $10 :(

What a bad run of luck :(

If you head across to Warehouse stationary with that bent SIM, they should have no problems swapping it our for a blank SIM card. As long as the original 2degrees SIM card was activated at some point, we will be able to swap your details across to the new blank.

You will need a reference number which I will PM you in a few minutes.

Cheers
