Was looking to get one for Xmas, but it disapeared from the online shop????
Looded on Dick Smith Web but nothing there either.
Want to get one while I can claim the $150 bonus top-up.....
Was this only a teaser yesterday or are they already sold out???

Yep, I noticed that, too, hence my question on the forum. Hopefully somebody knows something.

And "always look before you leap" - ie. search first before posting a question that's already been asked in a new thread.

Am going back to the store to have a look this avo, def none at DSE in the Hutt. The most annoying thing is the lack of phone number to call their store. You would think they could even just have one of their mobiles as a point of contact!! If anyone else is in town, post here if they have/havent got it!!

Why don't they just have a 'Sold Out' sign instead of removing the whole thing, it really looks poor to be adding and removing all the time.

I noticed the Ideos was missing last week too but thought that was maybe due to them running down stocks in preparation for new models.

I'll think I'll probably get one as well, can you get the $150 prepay discount deal from the online store?

I know it's a long shot, but if the Huawei X5 is available from 2D before 31st December, I'd probably go for one of them with the $150 topup rebate rather than the Optimus. Anyone know whether that's likely?

salesperson in newmarket has no idea about the x5. Funny thing was they wouldn't let me buy the optimus cuz its not scanning in the system. They said they will chuck a free gift like a movie pass if i come later

Oh no it's not Wink

Hmmm, this is the one area where 2Degrees are looking a bit amateurish.

Announce new handsets and then they don't appear, are available on the website one minute and then vanish etc etc.

The staff in the shops seem to know less than we do.

Come on 2Degrees, it was all going so well

Sounds a bit like the iPhone 4 launch to me.
