My billing period ended on the 8th of Jan if I cancel my broadband service today or tomorrow at the latest do I get a refund ?
I take it accounts are paid a months in advance so how would it
work out if I cancelled today do I save any money at all or get any back?

I am sure you will have to give up to 30days notice and they would close the account on your next bill cycle date
