I've got an iphone 4, got sent a micro sim card but don't know whether to get it set up. I live in Hamilton and was told 2Degrees has not rolled out 3G there yet. I detest Telecom but I am using it in the meantime.

Anyone know please?

2degrees don't have their own network there yet, you'll simply roam on the Vodafone network. You pay exactly the same prices for calling as any other 2degrees user but only have access to national data packs.

The SIM pack has pretty clear instructions on how to activate the SIM card.

2degrees has their own 2G/3G network but don't have towers in Hamilton yet. You roam on vodafone's 2G/3G network and can use the $6 for 50mb bundle

Where do I start. Until Vodafone came along Telecom had a complete monopoly and charged what they wanted.
2 degrees is far better. Outstripping both companies.

It was actually when BellSouth came along, they went live in July 1993. Vodafone didn't buy BellSouth until 1998.
