This just in from Orcon:

iSKY And TVNZ Zero-Rated With Orcon
Hi there,

Video can chew through data allowances, but as an Orcon customer you can stream iSKY and TVNZ Ondemand away without worrying about racking up big excess data charges.

SKY TV launches its new on demand service iSKY this week, and the great news for you and other Orcon@home and Orcon@work broadband customers is that the data will be zero-rated as part of our O zone.

iSKY is free to SKY subscribers and allows access to a huge library of content based on a subscriber's SKY package, including movies, sports highlights and free catch-up viewing for nearly all the basic channels plus Prime. To get started just go to www.isky.co.nz.

It all sounds pretty sweet.

Also, Orcon built the network that SKY is using to deliver iSKY. We are proud of our fine work, and know it will be super quick.

If you aren't a SKY subscriber, you can still take advantage of zero-rated streaming video via TVNZ Ondemand and NZ On Screen. They're both part of our O zone. More details here.

Enjoy!

The Team at Orcon

I never really paid much attention to Isky as I thought it was a paid service. It is saying it is free (if you have Sky on tv). Nice! Plus well done to Orcon for making it zero-rated. Credit where it's due.
