Is anyone using a Samsung GT-i9000 Galaxy S on 2degrees? If so, what's the experience like?

Is will be like any other smart phone on 2D, Telecom NZ, Vodafone NZ

Can make phone calls, Send SMS and use packet switch data such as the internet and MMS

use the vodafone i9000 on 2d and vodafone, and the telecom i9000 for telecom.

as per johnr, no different to any smartphone on all networks, do the usual, call, text, internet

Works fine on 2degrees.The phones features are supported by NZ mobile providers.
You would have to set the APN for data and MMS to work of course.

Sim card costs $5...
And As johnr says... I think 2degrees have a special teleport feature which saves you hundreds on transportation costs every year.

My GT-i9000 runs Froyo, and performs very well on 2 Degrees in both urban and rural environments.

I use a lot of data services, as well as calling.

I have no problems with my i9000 on 2Degrees and I use calls, texts and a fair amount of data (1gb a month)

Speed Test

Here's my speedtest over 2Degrees @ work. I am in a concrete building that kills signal so I'm lucky to be getting 2 bars of HSDPA.
