Hey Geekzone,

I think either my phone or the network is playing up. I can send text messages fine, however I can only recieve text messages when i turn my phone off and power it back on.

Phone is a Nokia N95, On the 2degrees in Christchurch. Issue has been occuring since friday, and is not isolated to a single cell tower as the issue continues to occur through out the city (live in Riccarton, work in CBD, spent today at a friends place in Linwood).

Does anyone have an idea as to what this problem could be, and how I could attempt to isolate the cause?

Thanks,

Jonty

Isolate the issue with the most basic of basic fault checking. Try SIM in another handset

If everyone on 2Degrees in Chch CBD was not getting incoming SMS I am sure there would already be a thread on Geekzone

Further to this I take it you have deleted all the SMS on handset?

There you go as easy as that. So no way a network issue on 2Degrees
