I'd imagine so, they will have a good idea where their roming traffic is coming from. Dunedin being 1 of our larger cities is surely likely to get new sites built.

The company said the extra $100 million will take its total network investment to $400 million, getting it into the same ballpark as Telecom and Vodafone's mobile infrastructure spend.

If that is indeed near what Telecom and Vodafone have spent, then it should be pretty wide coverage. It'll be interesting to see a list of proposed sites, although I imagine that it could be some time away (if it becomes public at all).

Surely it'd be in there best interests to do so, I believe knowing you could get 2Deg coverage in places you need would be of interest to prospective customers.

No where near, telecom already had the towers setup, sure they built new ones for XT but it will be nowhere near the coverage of the other two. Vodafone said some time back that to build a similar network would be about 1bn...
