Just bought the misses a new X5 to replace her LG Arena (Iphone killer that never killed..).  Now she is already on pay monthly so she cant use the prepay credit.  The first plan is to try and get rid of it to someone on prepay who wants some credit on the cheap.  Alternatively I will cancel her postpay deal, top up her phone with the $$ and put her back on pay monthly.

Obviously that is a lot of effort, so if anyone here wants $150 top up they can have it for $130 and save me the need for a whole load of hassle!!

Aaah if thats the case I'll be doing the postpay -> prepay -> to postpay, just annoying!! The problem with trademe is on top of taking a $20 hit I have to pay fees!

Yeah and at $20 off it would never sell on TM. I've been trying to sell a $100 topup for $70 for 2 months and no success. Previously I had a few $50s and they didn't sell until the price got to $30, so after fees thats almost half price.

I cancelled my Vodafone plan (and paid termination fees) to sign up to 2D pay monthly, just for 2D to jerk me around and not to sign me up due to demographics, so this week I plan to sign up to another Vodafone plan, which leaves me the dilemma that I have almost $400 in credit and what do I do with it?

I can use me2u to transfer credit to other people, but because it only lasts 2 months people will not want large amounts, so I'll just have to dole it out to people over the next 12 months.

Can't you persuade them to let you use the credit for an instore purchase and buy a handset?

I spoke the rep, who passed it on to someone else who put it on her account. Although she did get a very "we DONT normally do this" phone call. I dont see what the big deal is with them putting in on! But at the end of the day they came to the party, and we are both very happy on 2degrees, YAY!
