Just brought a new galaxy s from clove in the uk. i can text fine and was in my browser on my wifi last night downloading new apps :)

At work this morning i tried to go into the browser and saw that i wasnt connected to 3g (no biggy) so i requested the settings from 2 degrees using the sim card app.

Installed that and i now see 3g and an H with the arrows flashing ocasionally. The signal bar still has an R above it i assume this is the norm.

Now this is where i am confused.  You tube app works as i was able to view videos and the market works also. When i tryed the browser it didnt work. go i rebooted cleared cache and cookies and rebooted again to no avail.

So i then thought maybe its the settings so after more buggering around i decided bugger it and downloaded dolphin. I installed this and this did not work either.

So it appears i have an internet connection but two browsers that dont want to work.

Any Help?

Odd. If youtube works, the browsers should work. Do you have "Use data while roaming" ticked?
(The market/youtube shouldn't work if you dont and you're roaming on vodafone's towers)

Could be an APN issue, check http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/settings

Try deleting your proxy in the Internet settings. You don't need it.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!
