I bought the 3gb data pack thinking it would probably be better value than the 1gb data pack, but in fact it is worse value

$20 - 1GB - 30 days (10c/MB if overlimit)
$50 - 3GB - 60 days (10c/MB if overlimit)

If you purchase the 1GB plan monthly for 2 months and then use an extra 1GB it is the same price as the 3GB pack, however if you use less than 3GB you save money.

What is the point of the 3GB data pack it should give better value for spending more $$.

Can I suggest 3GB should be 90 days (I actually thought it was 90 days when I purchased it, I think maybe it used to be 90 days or there used to be some kinda special?)

ummm im a little slow today .. but ???

$20 for month 1 (30 days)
$20 for month 2 (30)
= $40 (60days total) = 2 gig

$50 for 2 months (60 days total) = $50 for 3 gig

Differance of 1 gig (1024 meg) @ 10c per meg = $102.40 ??

so per 2 months
$20 + $20 + $102.40 = 3 gig
or
$50 = 3 gig

would love the data to be 90 days!

oh my math might be slightly out I was thinking 10c x 1000mb = $10

but yes 90 days would be great, as I seem to use 1GB / month (This is without wifi i guess if I used wifi at home it'd be closer to 500mb/month)

Lol... I must admit I was scratching my head over OP's maths. Laughing

Sadly, I don't get to decide what to build, only how to build it.

Come on Salty, just add an "accidental" math error to the usage/billing system.

We promise we won't tell anyone.

Well, multiplication has never been my strong point...

I use about 400MB/month, then it expires after 30 days. I'd rather the 1GB pack lasted a bit longer, or i'd buy a larger pack if it had a more generous expiry date. 3GB/3 months for less than triple the cost of 1GB would work.

As it is i'll probably just stop buying data, or put it on my existing Vodafone plan instead of having a separate SIM for 2degrees data.
