Hi guys,
I have recived a pocket wifi from 2 degrees with an included prepay SIM. I have the password for "you 2 degrees" however I can't find the phone number anywhere to login. Where can I find the phone number of the SIM card? I don't have the packaging anymore.

If you can plug the SIM card into a phone and you're in the 2degrees canopy, the following code should work: just dial *001#

Great, that was easy!

OK next question. I want to sign this up for auto top up on national data and mobile broadband so I can give it to the boss and she doesn't need to worry about anything other than turning it on.

Do I just setup auto top up from the credit card then set auto topup on each of the 100MB and 12GB packs?

Yes, that should work but I haven't tried it myself. SaltyNZ and others on this forum have experience with this so hopefully they can offer some advice.

Hi Zeon,
Purchase the 12 gb and 100Mb packs.
After signing into your 2degrees (you have Ph + password now) put $20 credit on your account and set an ATU (just top me up). When your 100mb is used up or expires it will automatically recur taking $10 credit. The next time it will take the remaining $10 credit which in turn will automatically trigger the Autotopup - leaving the credit there for the next 2 recurrances.

I think you will need to monitor your 12gb Pack however, as ATU is triggered on balance not on valuepack expiry/depletion. The 12Gb doesnt recur.

This is important, you will need to monitor your 12Gb Valuepack balance and replenish manually - adding credit to do so. you can monitor your 12 gb balance by either logging into your 2degrees or checking the low data balance sms in the connection s/w with the router.

Hi Zeon, thanks for choosing 2degrees!

Thank too to Amanzi and Toiletduck. Just need to correct Toiletducks comment, the 12GB DOES auto-renew.

OK, so you've got your number, registered on 'Your 2degrees' and bought the 12GB Mobile Broadband pack and a 100MB National Data Pack. Both Auto-renew on expiry (6 months for 12GB, 30 days 100MB NDP) or when used up, whichever happens first.

Set up Auto Top-Up so that when your balance hits $2.50 it will automatically top up by the amount you set it on.

I would suggest you set it to $20 so that when the 100MB National Pack runs out it will have enough credit to auto-renew. With the 12GB I would keep a check on the balance in Your 2degrees to see how you are going with it and when you see it hitting 10MB add $150 to your credit so you have enough to auto-renew.

Hope this helps!
