Has anyone else on Orcon been experiencing much worse latency playing League of Legends recently?

My ping has gone from 130ms to 380-400ms making it almost unplayable..

I play Heroes of newerth on Orcon and the pings are great.  Ping to the Aus servers are around 100 while pings to the US west servers are around 200.

I play league as well but im with Snap and have noticed a significant rise in ping during the last 2 or 3 weeks (from about 160 to ~200)... I think the servers are having problems at the moment so it may not be Orcons fault

Orcon had an issue with US speeds which they say is resolved - I think its fixed now, back down to 130ms on LOL servers.

You get 100ms pings on HoN AU servers? I get 50ms pings to them on Orcon :)

If they could just get my sync speed fixed they'd be perfect - it dropped from 6mbit to 1.5mbit recently, and I have a feeling its a direct result of cabinets going into Sunnynook.

Well, in the game lobby, the ping is between 50 and 80 but when I am in game, it's usually around 100. Either way, the response is good and delay is not noticeable at all.

My in game ping times, since they had thier problem to the US, have not improved. Before i was getting 200ish now i'm getting 300 with spikes to 700. Strangely it gets worse between 14:00 and 15:00.

I got interleaving turned off to see if that helped, but no difference.

Is there still a problem to the US?

For some reason I always get low latency in LoL in-game even when the LoL client is lagging and barely loading

LoL sometimes suffers from 'server lag' as recently they've been a bit overwhelmed by the amount of users online playing games at the same time.

Even though your latency is 100-200ms it may seem a lot laggier, as the server which sends you all the game information is slowing down and not firing that information as frequently as it usually does.

I'd assume Riot Games is probably in the process of adding more servers to their cluster to cope with this increased demand.

Also buggy patch updates cause the client to crash a bit, seems to happen with some patches, then they fix it all with the next patch or two.

Has been fine for me at 144ms ping or so. Today's a bit worse, I did a tracert and it appears there indeed is a little spike.

Vodafone/Telecom lines are fine, they go via VOCUS or XO respectively..

Looks like they've took a turn for a worse again - 270ms pings on two different orcon connections..
