Is anybody experiencing major line degradation in Auckland?

Voice is unusable due to the crackle. Orcon's 0800 131415 line is snarled up.

Net is in and out. Sync is all over the place.

Nothing on the network status page.

Anybody else?

Thanks xpd. We're unfortunate enough to be on Orcon- (EUBA, UBA, BANANA, ...).

So is that "Thanks Telecom"?

Orcon helpline still on hold (25 mins).

Enough of a service to jump online now and then. Patchy.

If you have a audible crackle on the line, then you have a line fault and need to get it sorted. No wonder you are having net issues :-)

I've got a mobile, and have been on hold with Orcon support for over 35 minutes now - no answer.

Thanks Sounddude - don't mean to sound ungrateful - but how to get the line fault sorted if I can't speak with anybody?
