So i decided to bring this to a place more likely to find a resolution. Some iPad's can send SMS from SIM applications and some cannot. Is this a batch related problem or is there some way to enable it?

Note that send settings does not work on my iPad2 and i bought my SIM on iPad2 release day (or near there) from the Riccarton Mall, CHCH store

Cheers,

Chris

It is only on the microSIMs. If you take a normal SIM and cut it up it will work fine, but it doesn't have the send SMS SIM app on it.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

Hi there,

I bought a microsim from dick smith on wyndham street in Auckland today and I do not have the option to send a text either. I have an iPad 2 64gb + 3G.
