I've had no voice line on my Orcon+ service today and I can't get through to their support team. I've requested a call back and I've tried ringing several times. Usually after 20+ minutes on hold the line goes dead.

The website states that they have support at the weekends but at the moment I'm wondering how well staffed it is, or are they having a major voice outage and can't cope with the calls. Their network status page isn't saying anything.

Interestingly my ADSL line is operating fine.

I only got connected at my new house on Friday and found line/net was working yesterday after sitting on hold forever with Orcon and getting no answer.

Ok I'm looking at late tomorrow before Chorus can look at my line, so no voice line for over 2 days. Thankfully they have forwarded our home number to my wife's mobile, but makes outbound local calls a bit expensive.

I've updated the ISP faults page as this is getting ridiculous. I'm on hold to get confirmation that the work has been completed. After an hour they reset the line and push you to the back of the queue.

After a couple of hours I have up and requested a call back, and for once they did. Chorus have now moved the expected fix for the line fault to Monday which means a 9 day open issue.

Ha mate it took them 8 days to figure out that my line got disconnected when the neighbours behind me moved out. Only took 3 visits from chorus and me ringing them twice a day. Thier customer service sucks balls (20mins MIN) to get through (if it doesn't say the system is overloaded and disconnect you).
