I'm not a SNAP customer [yet] but when I spoke with them today they said to use their Naked DSL I would have to incur a install charge [was it $99 or $199?] for a "new pair" into the house i.e. I couldn't use the existing phone line

This seems really odd, my existing provider said if I change to Naked I can use the existing line

Can anyone clarify ?

Also is there any contract or term ?

Also are all plans FS/FS ?

$55 for Naked including 5GB is a pretty good deal

Hi xlinknz

If your current provider has their own equipment, that's when the wiring fee of $199 kicks in because we have to send out a Chorus tech to go out there and switch you over to the main lines.

To answer your other questions:
-There is a 12 month contract with Snap and an early termination fee of $150
-All our plans are FS/FS

If this is the only barrier to you crossing over to us, give us a call to sign up and say Ralph sent you to have the wiring fee waived

I'm not sure what you mean by equipment provided by my current provider ?

We have an existing TCNZ landline and dsl with a different provider to TCNZ

Not sure yet if we would go naked
