hamish225: okay so looking at the new roaming rates, it seems to be cheaper to call than to text? logical? I think not.
*Insert big spe*dtest result here*
Glee: NZ 44c/min. That's what, AU35 c/min. It seems to be cheaper for an Australian to use a 2degrees SIM card to make (outgoing) calls than it would be to use an Australian SIM card.
Glee: I only looked here www.telstra.com.au/mobile/prepaid/rates, which suggests that a prepaid call with Telstra has a connection fee of AU 35-39c then a per min rate of AU80-89c/min.
As you say, though, I'm sure there are better offers out there, including from Telstra. I find the Australian "bonus" credit system very confusing.

old3eyes: Just wish 2D would update their roaming rates on their website. Still shows calling cost as $1.39 / minute and data at $30 / Meg for roaming to Ozz..
