My friend is traveling overseas, I want to know how much it will cost me to text his 2 degrees number from my 2 degrees number.
Will i still be able to use the txt 2500 to his roaming 2degrees phone or will it charge me the standard $0.09c for international texts?

Thanks

It will come out of your text bundle with no extra charge. As far as your concerned this is a local transaction.

Edit: unless you are also roaming, in which case roaming rates would apply.

The location of the receiving phone makes no difference to the cost of txt, it's determined by your plan and location. Also in my experience phones anywhere in the world receive txts for free, with the possible exception of the USA though I really have no idea about there.

Thanks nzbnw and timmmay.

Just to confirm if it's a NZ network customer that's roaming overseas it will come out of your text pack or you'll get charged 9c normal rate or 2c if you're texting a 2degrees customer within 30 days of topping up and run out of free texts.
