Hey guys,
I got our bill for this month's charges yesterday and it was double our normal bill. After looking through I noticed that the boss (who is on the $149 plan) had this:
Casual data 118 819 MB $295.05

I can't understand this as she practically doesn't use her phone for anything other than calling (hardly even texting). What's even stranger is that she hasn't even had her phone. The story goes we signed up with Choice Mobile and bought an X5 through them. After getting it there was an obvious problem with the battery so we sent it back to them to get it repaired.

It looks like they took it to a phone repair place rather than back to 2degrees and for some weird reason the repair place sent it back to us saying we hadn't paid (even though we weren't the ones who took it there for repair). Anyway the guy from Choice Mobile came back picked it up, dropped it a the repair place and we got it back last week.

This process took about a month and the guy from Choice Mobile lent the boss his phone after doing a factory reset. We didn't touch it, install any applications etc, was just used for calling until we got the X5 back but apparently it used 1GB of data =S. There weren't any warning TXTs about usage so i think soemthing is amiss here.

I tried to call 2degrees yesterday but after waiting for 30mins and finding I then need to be transferred I hung up after waiting for another 20mins. I emailed the guy at Choice Mobile our bill to see if he could figure it out but haven't heard back.

At this stage I have told our Accounts Payable not to pay the invoice until we hear back but I think its 2degrees rather than Chocie Mobile who we should be talking to. How do i contact them in regards to this? Has anyone had a similar situation before?

You should call 200. It's also possible POB will contact you via this thread.

Hi Stuart, yup heard from 2degrees via geekzone mail thanks but haven't heard from Stefan. I think 2degrees are going to follow up with him otherwise I'll let you know of any troubles.

Cheers!

Hey guys,
Just an update on this. We have been talking to 2degrees and they seem willing to cut the charges for the period we had the loan phone which is good news. We are just trying to get the dates sorted as they seem to think we were given our our phone back on the 10th of June but it was either last week or the week before so that's a bit off. They are going to call Choice Mobile to try and confirm this and once confirmed I think this should be sorted.

I hate to say it but choice mobile sound like a bunch of cowboys I wouldn't have waited a month for them to sort out your phone!
