I missed a call on my 022 mobile phone from the number 63592514 (typed exactly how is showed on my phone).  I called the number back (from my 027 mobile) and got the general message "telecom number you called is currently unavailable".  Does anyone recognise that number format? or have an idea what it could be? I am very interested to know who called me (and didn't leave a message).  Thanks!

Maybe put a + in front of it. +63 is The Philippines.

Or try an 0 in front of it; 06 is a valid NZ area code.

If that's the case, that would be a Palmerston North number.

if you recieved a number in an odd format it was probably handed to 2degrees in an incorrect format. All carriers generally follow a standard set of rules for Caller ID between each other, but some are well known for not doing this correctly and causing the sort of issues you see.

T1Bay: thank you

did you find out who called you in the end?

you should check what carrier they are on and get them to complain to their carrier that they are sending the wrong number format. otherwise it will just happen again.
