So, as per the title - does username.orconhosting.net.nz still exist, or more to the point do you have to be an orcon dialup/ADSL customer to have it enabled?

I have an orcon email, and have on and off had DSL via them but do not at present.  I get a login prompt trying to FTP to that domain, but my user/pass combo is nogo.

Can anyone verify that a) the service is still beign provided and b) whether you need to be acessing from an Orcon IP to get in vi FTP?

I can see the domain "username.orcon.net.nz" in my account managment area when logged in to the Orcon site, and it says the domain "username.orcon.net.nz" is ACTIVE.  Browsing to the same web address bring up an "Index of /" page so it is all responding, I just can't FTP in to change stuff!

Cheers

Yeah i have one and have the same problem - have you changed your password since you joined? I don't think it updates it when you change your password so it will be still on your old password
