I got my genius phone and modem yesterday and have to wait till the 23rd august which is a pain i feel like a kid at christmas looking at the presents. Dont rush it, I dont want to rain on your parade but we have had nothing but problems with Genius mainly with the phone side of things call waiting not working getting cut off when some rings when you are already talking to someone my wife is at her wits end as she is home with the kids all day. Tried to get hold of the hepldesk at Orcon today and she got cut off maybe someone els tried to call her? then waited anothe 30 odd mins to get no where not option to leave a message and get a call back anymore, so she has emailed them in hope of talking to someone.

Sounds like not much has changed since bad experiences with Orcon's LLU fone service a couple of years ago..
xpd: And Ive had no issues with Genius but we get very few calls so call waiting issue is non-existant for us.
If thats your only issue, then its nothing to worry about, Orcon are working on it.
You try telling my wife that there is nothing to worry about, she guts cut off at least 3-4 times a day and it is getting so bad that no one wants to ring us. Also the phone quaility is not that great either but we are living with that for now
